GRAB A BEER  |  2020

The series, grab a beer​, was inspired initially by one of my favorite painters, Eduard Manet.  In an excellent show of his work at the Art Institute of Chicago, I noticed the occasional glass of beer, painted beautifully.  It reminded me of how much I love painting, beverages, and paintings of beverages.  In my mind, when a friend asks another friend to "grab a beer," they're basically saying, "I love you."  So here's some beers that I loved, often consumed with friends I love.
